Back Onside launch brand new YouTube Series with partners Hibernian Football Club

Everyone here at Back Onside are absolutely delighted to announce the arrival of our newest YouTube series “The Changing Room Chat Show” — a podcast and YouTube series where we will be visiting different sports clubs and corporate businesses to speak about mental health and the importance of looking out for our mental well-being.

We filmed our first episode with partners Hibernian Football Club, speaking with some first team players about mental health and the impact that this can have within and out with football. Our ambassadors David Cox and Lee Mair spoke together with our ambassador and Hibernian player Joe Newell, alongside Mikey Devlin and Jimmy Jeggo – you can click here to watch it now.

This particular episode provides a very honest insight into issues that some football players experience in their careers, touching on many topics that fans may not understand or see.

Our aim with this brand-new series is to spread mental health awareness and education throughout the sports industry and beyond. We want our supporters to see and understand that everyone has mental health, and that this subject should be spoken about openly and confidently, with no shame.
